Whenever I ask for a bubble gum to my wife she always correct me and says “chewing gum”. How are they different from each other?
Let me ask Mr. Google…
Here’s what I got…
> We chew chewing gum, and we blow bubbles out of bubble gum
> A chewing gum is usually designed for long-lasting enjoyment, releasing flavor slowly over time, and these products are not usually intended for swallowing
> Bubble gum has few ingredients which make it more viscous that make it stretch and hold together when bubbles are blown. It has also been treated so that it is not sticky, so that if a bubble bursts, it will not coat the face and hair of the chewer.
Nice!

How about cupcake & muffins? Hehe…
http://www.differencebetween.net has a great comparison between the two yummy treats.
In summary,
> Cupcakes and muffins are similar in shape but a cupcake uses a cake recipe and a muffin uses a bread recipe.
> Cupcakes have been popular confectioners’ treats for years while muffins only gained popularity as coffee houses began popping up across the country.
> Cupcakes generally have more sugar and frosting and are popular with kids while muffins are made with a variety of stir-ins and accompany coffee.
wow, it keeps getting better…
Ok last na, jumping rope & skipping rope…
Oh no, no similar searches!
Most of the result shows that they are the same so I tried to search individually and based on Wikipedia, Skipping Rope is British English while Jump rope is American English.
Nice! Nice!
