“It’s been a while…” – Staind
August is the Month of Heroes that is why the activity lined-up is about Heroes.
As for the value for the Month its Respect & Integrity. Personally speaking i did not deliver very well on how to explain “Integrity” to the kids. What a shame!

Activity (for Junior Sagip): “If you will be a Superhero…”
This is inspired from the last National Sagip Day. Where the kids will draw a Superhero that they want to be. Of course, it should not be the existing we have like Superman & Darna rather a unique one.
They should have super powers & how do this superpowers can help others.
Based on observation fire & water are the common powers they use. They use ‘Fire’ in defeating snatchers and ‘Water’ in killing the fire on a burning house.
Activity (for Senior Sagip): Essay
The essay is about looking in there future, about the real superheroes in modern time. Using their ambition, they should tell a story on how this helped others.
The common ambitions used were Nurses or Doctors & Police or a Military.
